We are excited to share the arrival of 2 new brands Omoda & Jaecoo, making their way to New Zealand and soon to our Dunedin dealership. Brace yourself for a fleet of fresh petrol and electric SUVs hitting the market between 2024 and 2025, as well as a diverse range of Plug-in Hybrid options.
The launch of the Omoda C5 and Omoda E5 models is scheduled for March 2024 followed by Jaecoo models later in the year. Our soon to be Omoda showroom space down at Southern Motor Group Dunedin, will have a selection of models on display and several demonstrator vehicles.
The Omoda C5 stands out with its turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder petrol engine, providing 108kW and 210Nm to the front wheels. Packed with modern amenities, it features a wireless charging pad, compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, heated steering wheel and front seats with electric adjustment, surround camera, customizable ambient and LED lighting, and dual 10.25″ digital screens. Premium touches include ‘comfort entry’ with proximity locking and unlocking, and an automatically opening boot lid. Its intelligent voice command system controls various car functions, while the base C5 1.5 model and upcoming 1.6T variant cater to diverse preferences. For eco-conscious drivers, the E5 model offers electric power with a 61kWh battery pack and a range of 450km. With a recent 5 Star ANCAP rating, the OMODA C5 underscores its commitment to quality and safety. All Omoda vehicles come with a 7-year unlimited kilometre warranty and road assistance package. The Omoda E5 EV comes with an additional 8-year battery warranty.
